Edward J. Hickey

Ed is a licensed Funeral Direct/Embalmer since graduating Worsham's College of Mortuary Science in 1984 . Ed is the third son of Bob and Myrt Hickey. He is a 4th generation funeral director who continues to serve the families of our community at a time when they most need it.

Ed is a graduate of St. Christopher's and Bremen High School in Midlothian, Illinois. Ed married Jan nee Nawracaj in 1985 . They have three children Christina, Kelly and Robert. Ed and Jan are members of St. Jude Parish in New Lenox.

Ed has served the local community by serving on the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce as a Director for many years and also chaired the annual Golf outing for numerous years.

Jack M. Hickey

Jack has been a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer since 2007. He is a graduate of the New Lenox School system and of Providence Catholic High School '04. After graduating from high school Jack attended SIU and later graduated from Worsham's College of Mortuary Science '06. Jack is the son of Michael and Kathy. He is a 5th generation funeral director who continues to serve the families of our community at a time when they most need it.

Terrence B. Hickey

Terry is a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer since graduating from Worsham's College of Mortuary Science in 1996. Terry is youngest son of Bob and Myrt Hickey. He is a 4th generation funeral director who continues to serve the families of our community at a time when they most need it.

Terry is a graduate of St. Christopher School in Midlothian and Providence High School of New Lenox. Terry is a lifelong resident of Midlothian, Illinois.

Noreen T. Kaczanowski nee Hickey

Licensed Pre-need Funeral Consultant

Noreen is the second oldest daughter of Bob and Myrt Hickey. She has been a licensed Pre-need funeral consultant since 2001 and earned her certified Pre-Planning Consultant designation from the National Funeral Directors Association in 2005. Noreen continues in the tradition of her father and grandfather of serving the people of the community at a time when they most need it.

Noreen is a graduate of St. Christopher Grade School and Bremen High School in Midlothian Illinois. Noreen married David Kaczanowski in 1981 and have two children, Tavis and Kyle. Noreen and Dave are active members of St.Jude Parish in New Lenox and have a true sense of volunteerism as they enjoy volunteering their time for various charitable organizations within their parish and elsewhere.

Michael B. Hickey

Mike is a licensed Funeral Director /Embalmer since 1977 when he graduated from Worsham’s College of Mortuary Science. Mike is the second oldest son of Bob and Myrt Hickey. He is a 4th generation funeral director who continues to serve the families of our community at a time when they most need it.

Michael graduated from St. Christopher's School and Bremen High School in Midlothian. He furthered his education by receiving an accounting degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.

Mike is married to Kathy nee Mazzola and they have three Children Margaret, Jack and Brett. Mike and Kathy are members of St. Jude Parish in New Lenox. Mike is a 38 year member of New Lenox Lion’s Club. He also served as the New Lenox Township Supervisor from 2013-2021. Mike is member of the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce and the Father Dick Allen Knights of Columbus.

Donald E. Peloquin

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer - Semi Retired

Don received his license for Funeral Director/Embalmer in 1975 after graduating from Worsham's College of Mortuary Science. He is a life long resident of Blue Island where he graduated from St. Walter Grade School (1964) and then Dwight D.Eisenhower High School(1968). Don served from 1970 to 1972 in the U.S. Army, he completed one tour of duty in Vietnam.Don is a current member of American Legion Post # 50 and also a member of Knights of Columbus Council #1366. He is active in the local community and has served the residents of Blue Island as Mayor from 1985 till 2013.

In 1975 Don married Mary Ellen nee Hickey, the oldest daughter of Bob and Myrt Hickey. Don and Mary Ellen have four children, Daniel, David, Jamie and Donna. Don and Mary Ellen are active parishioners of St. Benedict parish in Blue Island. They both are committed to continuing the tradition established by Mary Ellen's grandfather of continuing to serve the people of the community as if they were family.
