T he options of funeral service are almost as endless as the personalities of those being remembered.

Being a "full service" funeral home, we handle everything from the most elaborate of funerals to cremations or anatomical gifts, with or without any type of ceremony.

Our father was the first in our area to introduce many of the cremation options now marketed as "new concepts." These included alternatives such as rental caskets, visitations with same day or evening services, and the now common memorial service.

We encourage the personalization of any type of service; personalization options include:

Our large selection of Prayer Cards or Memorial Folders
Caskets with themed cap panels, cap panels with personal photos, keepsake corners and choices of laser engraved designs and inscriptions (Veteran, Ethnic, Religious, etc.)
Personalized Urns (from the most basic to commissioned works of art)
A simple Memory Table and/or Picture Board to display personal effects
We can also help with other arrangements, such as family flower pieces, the funeral luncheon, the grave marker or monument, and more.



Since the actual cost of an individual funeral service would certainly depend on the individual choices that you would make, the following are simply some examples of merchandise, basic arrangements, and Service Packages that we offer (Casket and Vault Price List Effective as of July 15, 2010):

Immediate Burials - $1,625.00 to $2,170.00Our charge for an immediate burial, without any attendant rites or ceremonies, includes removal and shelter of remains, local transporation to the cemetery, necessary services of funeral director and staff, and authorizations.

Direct Cremation (Crematory fee extra*) - $1,200.00 to $1,275.00 Our charge for a direct cremation without any attendant rites or ceremonies includes removal of remains, local transportation to crematory, necessary services of funeral director and staff, and authorizations. If you would like to arrange a direct cremation, you may use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are corrugated cardboard.

Direct cremation with an alternative container: $1,275.00
Direct cremation with container provided by purchaser: $1,200.00*Crematory charges are additional (currently $270.00)



Anatomical Donation - $1,450.00Our charge for an anatomical donation without any attendant rites or ceremonies includes removal of remains from local hospital or nursing home, transportation to Anatomical Gift Association (Chicago), necessary staff, and authorizations.(Home removal $100.00 additional)

Visitation with Burial - $4,675.00 Visitation up to 2 hours prior to funeral service at funeral home or church, embalming, local transfer of remains to funeral home, hearse to local cemetery, register book, 100 memorial cards or folders, 25 acknowledgement cards, and basic non-protective steel casket. (After 2 hours $125 per hour)

Cremation with Visitation - $4,300.00 Weekday visitation up to 2 hours prior to funeral service at funeral home, embalming, local transfer of remains to funeral home, transfer to crematory, register book, 100 memorial cards or folders, 25 acknowledgement cards, and oak rental casket/cremation liner. (Funeral ceremony at church is $425.00 additional) (After 2 hours $125 per hour)

Cremation with Memorial Service - $2,900.00 Weekday – up to one hour prior to service at funeral home or church, local transfer of remains to funeral home, alternative container, transfer to crematory, register book, 100 memorial cards or folders and 25 acknowledgement cards.(Over 2 hours $125 per hour) (Weekend – additional $200)

*Does not include any related expenses and/or cash advance items such as crematory/cemetery charges, clergy, newspaper charges, additional merchandise, sales tax, etc.
